Mental Health Kits

Sometimes support needs to be tangible.

CATCH develops mental health kits that give young people and the adults supporting them practical tools for coping, self-regulation, connection, and healing. Our kits are created with input from mental health and trauma-informed professionals and are used throughout our community.

CATCH Coping Kits give young people simple, accessible tools they can use to manage stress, regulate emotions, and practice healthy coping strategies.

Designed for use in schools and other youth-serving environments, the kits help make coping skills something young people can learn, practice, and use when they need them.

CATCH Comfort Kits are trauma-support kits designed for young people experiencing a traumatic event, crisis, loss, or other difficult circumstance.

The kits help professionals create a safe and supportive environment during initial conversations and give young people tools they can continue using as they move through the healing process.

Funding Partners

Both our Coping and Comfort Kits are only made possible through the generous support of grantors and donors.

Keep Learning.

Mental health tools work best when young people have supportive adults around them. Explore CATCH’s Resource Hub for practical tools, trusted information, expert guidance, and real-life perspectives to help support children, teens, and families.

Thank you to volunteers from the Glenbrook High School Foundation, Rotary Club of Northbrook, Providence Farm and others in the community for contributing countless hours to help assemble the kits.
