The CATCH Board
CATCH is led by parents, volunteers, board members, and staff who understand how hard it can be to support a child’s mental health and emotional wellness. Many of us came to this work through our own family experiences. Together, we share what we’ve learned, connect families with resources, and help build a community where parents and caregivers feel less alone.
Rachel Tzinberg
President | Acting Director | Founding Member
Rachel knows how hard it is for parents to see their children struggle, and she recognizes the value of finding resources and support that are right for each family.
She got involved with CATCH to help guide parents toward information, connection, and next steps that can help them feel less alone.
She is grateful for her family and friends, laughter, firepits, and the opportunity to serve the community with a caring and thoughtful group of people.
Anne Neumann
Vice President | Director of Communications | Comfort Kit Lead | Founding Member
Anne felt an early connection to CATCH when she learned it offered a safe place for caregivers of young people struggling with mental health to gather and receive support from others on a similar journey.
She is proud that CATCH helps destigmatize mental health locally and make it part of kitchen-table conversations.
She’s grateful for her family and a community rich with resources to support young people facing mental health challenges. She lives in Deerfield with her family.
Jane Ciancanelli
Treasurer
As a lifelong resident of Northbrook and a parent of three, Jane knows firsthand the stress and anxiety kids in our community can experience because of school and social pressures.
She brings a background in finance and accounting, along with years of work experience, to her role as CATCH Treasurer.
She hopes to help keep children’s mental health and emotional wellness a shared priority for families and the community.
Stacy Mautner
Community Outreach Co-Chair
When Stacy discovered CATCH, she joined as a volunteer because its mission aligned with her personal and professional goals of breaking stigma and increasing awareness around mental health.
As an ADHD coach and advocate, she works with children and adults to support personal growth, collaboration with the school system, and self-advocacy.
Stacy and her husband grew up in Northbrook and were thrilled to move back to their hometown to raise their two children in the Northbrook school system.
Heather Cole
Parents Connect Chair | Note Your Feelings Chair
As a trained clinical psychologist, Heather understands the importance of mental health and emotional wellness.
After raising three children in Northbrook, she is very familiar with the community and schools.
Heather is committed to helping children and families build understanding, resilience, and coping skills so they feel more supported through life’s challenges.
Jen Diehl
Secretary | Community Outreach Co-Chair
Jen understands the importance of mental health awareness and support through her own lived experience. She is dedicated to reducing stigma and helping families know that mental health matters just as much as physical health.
Jen joined the CATCH board after serving as a school representative on the School Engagement Committee. She is committed to helping more families find understanding, connection, and support.
She is also passionate about building connections with adoptive families who may be navigating similar challenges.
Jen lives in Evanston with her husband and teenage son.

The CATCH Founder
Amy Oberholtzer
CATCH Ambassador
Founder
Amy founded CATCH after her own parenting journey showed her how important it is for children’s mental health to be understood, supported, and talked about openly. She retired as Executive Director in November 2024.
Amy believes in the power of sharing our stories to ease stigma and help families find support without shame or fear. She is dedicated to ensuring that children in our community know they are enough just as they are.
