More than 2 billion people have smartphones today, and we check our devices on average an incredible 150 times every day. In early March 2020, CATCH hosted a screening of LIKE: A Documentary about the Impact of Social Media on our Lives, and we considered the cost of our dependence, and our children’s reliance, on screens.
The film explored the pros and cons of social media, revealed its impact on our brains, and offered strategies to help all of us manage our technology.
Check out this TIP SHEET on managing social media use.
Special thanks to co-sponsors Rogers Behavioral Health & Fusion Academy and to our panelists:

- Blair Famarin, LCSW, Rogers Behavioral Health
We hope the film and the thoughtful discussion afterwards helped everyone re-evaluate their use of technology to ensure we are taking time for real human connections in this high-tech world.
